I was thinking to myself.....the media...specifically cartoons and video games, why do the characters have on some articles of clothing and not others? Follow.

(Mickey Mouse...he rocks red shorts with his shirt off...BURR!)

(Donald Duck....he rocks a sailor's uniform with no bottoms? Same franchise as Mickey Mouse)

(Spongebob Squarepants..known for his signature, well, sqaure pants.)

(Squidward Tentacles....he lets it all hang out? I guess they can have fire underwater, but not 4 legged jeans?)
